Hi All,
First of all, apologies for the long(ish) post.
We have a mixture of Windows 2000/2003 Print servers (which are also DCs) spread across 12 countries.. I have been experimenting with the GPO functionality to help users locate printers easily.
I have configured the "computer location" section within a GPO Ok and when testing this automatically searches and locates printers which match the location.
However my problem is this, we have a large number of laptop users who regularly visit other sites and have no idea what the local print server is called, therefore it would be very helpful if when they search for network printers it pulls up the printers nearest them ?? Any ideas ??
Thanks in advance
