I am starting to use Linux in a predominately Windows based network and I am looking for tools to help manage the network from a Linux machine.
I have found rdesktop, which is an implementation of RDP for Linux, to be quite useful. You can find here: I am also using VNC and SAMBA.
Does anyone know of other tools for Linux that can be used to manage a Windows network. Perhaps something to link up to Windows 2000 Active Diretory or view the server logs?
