I've created d.base with input forms and ther rest - I want to enable the user to specify / search for a particular record then b able to edit the info for that record.

how do i do this? The input form is complex with several tabs, hence i would like the search to bring up the record in that form - saving me to re-create it.

Any Help Appreciated

Hi,

Can You Tell Me Please More About Which Field You Want The User To Enter for Search.

Best Regard's

The database is to log info on IT equipment, i.e. PC's and their specs ect. I want the user to be able 2 search on computer no the main pk of the d.base and User name - the person who the comp is assigned 2. both of which are unique.

the main input form allows me to enter all these details, with comp no being the primary key, i want the user to select particular computer whos record needs ammending.

any ideas??
