Search Federator Keeps stopping livelink 9.7.1

In the last week our search federators keep stopping and upon start it works for an hour or two and stops again. OTC thinks someone is stopping them which is not the case and all logs show no issues. Any one Any clues to why?

do you have any logs ? are there any permissions issues ? any recent changes such as AV or windows updates etc ?
