Search Engine Submission tools

Hi

I used some software about 18 months ago to submit my website

to the search engines and was suprised at how successful it was. I cant seem to find the software I used or remember its name (hard drive died last year and it was one of the casualties!)

Can anyone suggest a good search engine submission tool?
(keywords and tags in place on the site)

Hi Neil,

How are you? Hows the business?

As I mentioned to you all that time ago, hand submit, don't use automated programs for larger engines, they are pointless and you either end up with your site blacklisted or a mailbox full of spam.

Most of these programs submit mainly to loads of FFA sites.

Google says that using submit programs are a violation of their terms of use. They even mention one of the most popular submit programs by name.

from what I've seen thus far in most of the submit programs I've played with google is not listed in the choices to submit to. clearly the reasoning why it is not. I wasn't aware you could do anything but hand submit to google

not defending SubmitWolf as hand submissions are more accurate in getting listed but the setting allow the allocations of only chosen sites wanted to submit to.
also has listing of sites that give spammers access to your email.

Ok, well I'll take your advice and hand submit to the engines that we are not listed on - only about 5 major ones (!)
