Hi can anyone help, I run a website I submit it regualrly to all the major search engines and appear on the first page of search results on google when you search for free ringtones. I want to take my search engine submission to the next level so that every item in my mysql database is submitted to the search engines but I'm not sure how best to do this.

If I submit a page to a search engine will the serach engine accept this and as the page is dynamic how to I put the keywords in the page so the search engine reads them

also is there any software out there that will do this for me ??

Great article, one gap for me in reading it.
You reference modifying the .htaccess file to run php scripts without an extension. First, how so?

Second, perhaps more *correct* from some people's perspective, can't you modify the Apache "AddHandler" declarations to enable php engine for files with no extension to net the same effect?

I'm runing Apache 1.3.29 on linux with PHP 4.3.10, BTW, to set a context for my Q.

Hi,
One of the code chunks has the htaccess file source-code.

I would not define *any* file without extension to be run as php, as that might give a security-gap in other scripts you might have..

There are probobly other ways to do this, I only modified the script I found on evolt.org -> Why reinvent the wheel?

I know that the sample on evolt.org is also a modification of another tutorial.. I read the user-comments and the replies from the one who wrote the sample on evolt.org.

I however think that I should tell people about the sample on evolt.org, as that one is for flatfile including, while mine is for mysql db-queries.

ps. as said: the code is not perfect, as it's only for testing purposes as of yet! I dont use it in a public page -yet-. My plan however, is making many scripts that use hte same way.. like image-generating scripts, etc.

no more will I have <img src="foo.php?id=2" />
Now, I'll have: <img src="foo/images/cars/volvo/245/turbo/id_2.jpg" alt="volvo 245 turbo" />

keep submitting to the search engine isn't going to do anything useful it's the backlinks that gets the search engines interested and keeps them there.

your main problem is the links in the centre of the page are javascript, SEs don't "do" javascript and all your pages have the same title.
