Search Engine Optimization

Hello Guys,

Currently working on a large scale project using ColdFusion.

When the site goes live we will be launching a large scale marketing strategy using newpaper advertisements, mail drops and things like that.

We will also be using payed web advertising, mainly Google AdWords.

In addition to these paid subscriptions I would also like to optomise my pages for general listings in Search Engines. As I understand it, most engines are now moving away from the traditional identifiers such as META tags and such.

Can you offer any advice on getting my sites listed quickly and bumping them up the list of results.
