Ok my boss has me searching a directory for freight companies with emails. The directory does not have a filter option for emails i was basically wondering if there was anyway i could script one in or something. right now what i have to do is filter them by state and then go to each individual page to look and see if they have an email.

I don't think this is something that the Javascript forum can help with (is it?).

What is this directory? Is it a website hosted by someone else? Hosted by you? Is it some kind of proprietory system with a custom "browser" or access database front-end? Is it maybe just a directory on your computer that you have to browse through?

Time and time and time again we get the same posts in this forum with no practical information whatsoever to assist in identifying the problem let alone helping us to suggest solutions. This is not an isolated case, but something that I am seeing in more and more threads here.

Please take the time to think about your question, write it offline, re-read it, update it with the results of your own attempts at finding a solution. Finally, post the thread.

it is on a webpage. and im guessing the .cfm means they are using cold fusion to display the results.
