search document in LL

Good day,
I am very new in LL. Can you tell me , how to search documents in exact folder through url request?

I'am creating .NET application which would like to provide documents inside LL by URL link. I know nickname of folder, I know part of document name to identify group of documents.
Problem is that I search big group of documents, and I would like to specify searching criteria into the one folder no to whole LL.

all .NET applications can call a livelink URL so I would just look at the searchapi. Here's a link in this forum

What you are essentally doing is executing a livelink search from a post of a form.

A lot of great examples for this is available in the knowledgebase discussions are.I would login to

find the discussions area for livelink now called Content Server Discussion and type

searchapi or xml search API and you will get a lot of results
