Hi all! We have an Intranet that has been in place for quite some time and there are about 150 links per month that drill down to excel spreadsheets. I know, not the best way to do this but I was unable to change the mind of upper management...
I am looking for software (or some other way to do this) that will search a folder for all spreadsheets called name.xls and replace all the spreadsheets with a new blank spreadsheet called name.xls (same name). I tried to search, find the fils, highlight all the files and then drag the one file that I want to replace the other files with (since they all have the same name) but it won't let me. I have seen lots of software that will search text within a file and replace it but nothing that will search and replace the entire file.
