I am interested in finding out how I can implement a search and replace function using VBA to search either Microsoft Word or .txt documents. Can anyone put me on the right path where I would be able to find out information about this? The function should be able to replace all instances of a particular text string.

thanks,

garry

Hi,
Why don't you use the Edit/Replace menu item?
