My Seagate Info just stopped working all of a sudden. I have many, many reports in Info's Menus. Previously, Info worked for around a year.

No matter which report I pick to run, I receive the following message after it fails:

"Access to report file denied. Another program may be using it."

I know there is no one else that is using the program.

I am running DeskTop through windows.

The server has Windows NT 4.0, Info free version 7.0.2.100, IE Version 5.0, and Service Pack 6.

An interesting thing is that Queries will run, but not reports. AND, I have tried multiple printers, and just running the report to disk. In addition, I have tried reinstalling the reports on the server. Nothing works.

Thank you very much for your help.

Here are a few possible issues that could cause this, I'm sure there are more, though:

1) Permissions to the directory in which the reports reside were changed
2) The password under which the APS is logged in expired (if you're running Info Components as application processes)
3) The server is infected with a virus (I received the same message as you when my APS was infected with funlove)

It worked! Thanks, rhinok.

I changed the permission on the network folder to "Everyone", and that worked. I need to talk to my Network Administrator, because I know he will not like me using the permission category "Everyone" as a solution, but for now it stays.
