I am having a rather strange occurrence. We are migrating to Crystal Enterprise 9 from Seagate Info 7. When I run a report in CE9 I am getting records that are repeated so with Seagate Info I might get 3 pages of data with no repeats. With CE9 I am getting 50 pages and most of the records are repeated records. The report only links 3 tables so it isn't very complicated. This is probably a Crystal Reports 9 issue but I'm having a hard time figuring it out. Could it be that I could possibly be missing a service pack for Crystal Reports 9? I don't think it's a CE9 issue because in the designer mode of CRystal REports 9 I also get the repeating records. Does this ring a bell with anyone out there.
It does not happen with all reports..

Hi,
One of the ways this can happen is if there are one to many relationships in the linked tables..If so, and you do not group carefully, you can get 1 record from the first table repeated for EVERY matching record in the linked tables.

I'd be suspect of your connectivity type also, but it's very likely there's something different in the joins.

Not sure why people don't provide technical info, such as describing their data, joins and how their connecting, most problems would be quickly fixed.

Turkbear,
Thanks for the caring suggestion. On the other hand, I found synapsevampire's response rather condescending. I will check what you suggested and respond.

No big deal. You have helped me many times before and I was surprised by the comment based on your helpful suggestions on other occasions. I completely understand and, I also, need a vacation.
