Greetings
I have been looking to replace some Sony SDT-9000/NI DAT drives. These are "standard" STD-9000 drives with a special firmware
Since there are not easy to find i though of repurposing standard SDT-9000 drives and changr the firmware but the specific firmware is nowhere to be found.
As i have a few of the NI drives around i found this old thread here and was wondering if anyone had any chance.
I was able to pull the flash out of NI drive and read it but i am looking if its possible to do the whole upgrade in software without having to go through so many hoops.
The firmware files (t90 extension) are around 610KB while the flash is 512KB which means there are more stuff there
Any help would be appreciated.
