SDSL router for ADSL service

Can you use a SDSL router for a ADSL connection. If so why or why not. Thank you.
 
SDSL typically has 2 lines for up and down speeds. ADSL has 1 line up/down. If you have an sdsl circuit and a adsl
router I would guess no. Heck i could be wrong however I have not seen this anywhere before. Jeter@LasVegas.com

...and the line coding is different. So, the box would not know what to do with these strange bits.
