We are preparing to install the brand new MCD release on our clustered system. However we are trying to migrate to common distribution, which needs both MXe's to be on at least build 10. Both systems are but report the following error and it's the same no matter which MXe I try and instigate the migration from:

Migration cannot be performed until all 3300ICPs in teh SDS network are upgraded to release 10.0 or later. The following nodes will need to be upgraded:

<name of other node in the cluster>

Both nodes are MCD sr1, so I'm confused to why this is happening.

Log in to each system. Go to the SDS Form Sharing form. At the top of the form make sure it says "Using Common Data Distribution" on each system. If not click Change.

Thats the problem, it's not using CDD, I want it to so that I can upgrade to the lastest version (as it's required) but I get the error I mentioned when I click to change it over.

have you run the 'migration precheck' command? The help file has a section on migrating to RDN sync.

Enter maintenance command "migration precheck" on each system and look for issues in the response. This should tell you what the systems don't like.
