We have a Option 11c Rls 25.40B with Call Pilot 2.0. My question is the HelpDesk ACD Queue when logged out or not ready the call goes to vmail and gets a recording saying to hit 1 to get someone now or wait for the tone to leave a message. we want to change the recording, but I can't find the Mailbox that this recording is located. I looked at the helpdesk mailbox 8666 and we changed it but we keep getting the old recording. In Meridian Mail there was a SDN block to add recording and prompts, but I can;t find them in CalPilot. any Ideas?

what is the dn you dialed that sent you to mail ?... who checks the mail? they have to know the box number.

5166 goes to ACD queue that is NCFW 8666.

8666 goes to ACD Queue that is NCFW 8699 Vmail main number

8666 is the vmail recording we changed but we still get the old recording.

new one on me did you apply your changes, and what happens when you go into the box and listen to it, do you get the old are the new. i would delete the box and put it back in if all else failed.(try to leave a msg with it deleted

The new message is there. but the old message plays when called so there must be a SDN number but I can't find it.

In call pilot
Extn DN 1 8666
Extn Dn 2 5166
Extn DN 3 5666

MWI DN 2000

the only one with a mailbox is 8666 and that is the recording we changed.

5666 is the interflow number for ACD 5166

5666 is a 500 set cfw to vmail # 8699

when I call 5666 I get the recording I want to change but there isn't any mailbox for 5666, so where is it going and how do I get to it?

Open application builder and find the auto operator that give you those options. It will have the option to leave message or dial 1. it is an auto operator and has to have a application built in application builder. find that and the id assigned to it and go the SDN table and find which number there is assigned to the id number. That will give you the number that goes to VM to pick it up.

You will have to change the recording using Voice Item Maintenance number or do it directly from a phone while editing the application in app builder. If you use Voice Item Main, a password has to be assigned to it while doing the edit.

maybe this will help

I tried to open App Builder, but get error (App Builder is not installed on this PC) Now what?

It Sounds like your SDN is 5666. If you can't open App Builder because it is not installed on your PC you cant get the .exe from the CallPilot disk. Once you have it you need to log on to the CallPilot, then open App Builder with a valid mailbox, password and CallPilot server. When App Builder is running you can go to File>Open and you should see a list of Application IDs. Select the one you need to work with. The Voice Item Maintenance ID should be there too. You might want to look at it too. You can find the SDNs associated with these App IDs in the CallPilot under the SYSTEM tab then SDNs. If you need me to go into further detail let me know.

Yes, there is an SDN table in Call Pilot just as there was in Meridian Mail. Sounds like calls are going to an Application (Meridian Mail was menu service). On your browser, look in System to find that SDN table. You'll need to launch Application Builder to edit the application once you find it--are you familiar with how that works?

Is application builder part of Call Pilot or do you have to buy it separately. I see it as a menu selection but when I click on it I get (Application builder not installed on this PC.

Ok I found App Builder on a laptop that is connected to the Option11 LAN that we don't use as we only have 1 dongle and I use it on my desktop to connect to the switch. If I use the call pilot menu to select app builder nothing happens, if I use Start Menu and select App builder I get the logon screen. I enter ID and and Password
click OK and nothing happens. Is something missing.

PS is the card in slot 9 & 10 NTRH30AA MM1 the callpilot server and what is the purpose of the video, keyboard and mouse connections at the top for?

You also need to choose a System (drop down box below Password). There is probably only 1 system configured, but that screen defaults to "new system," which would be why nothing launches. Or, you can bring up the Administration web screen on that laptop and launch Application Builder from there (since it is installed on the laptop, that should work).
The monitor, keyboard and mouse are to access the server itself. Even though it is flat, it is still a server. You are only using the client interface with the Administration screen and Application Builder.

I did select the IP of the only system in the dropdown box and it is the correct IP, but when I select OK nothing happens. I tried using both the menu button in the callpilot screen and from the start button in windows but nothing happens after I insert User, password and system.

Make sure you are using a valid mailbox number for the USER and the corresponding PASSWORD for that mailbox. Also, you MUST be logged on to the CallPilot from the laptop or whatever PC you are trying to run App Builder on. If not it will not work.
