I am working on a migration project which is from mercator5.0 to WSDSTX 8.0. I was trying to automate the process of testing the migration data.

I have a plan of creating a batch file and run the deploy process as a command line in the batchfile.

I found an sdeploy command in DSTX8.0 version but is that a similar command or any option for me to run the deloyment process at the command promt in Mercator5.0.
I am able to deploy the system with the following command:
Call C:\Ascential\DataStageTX_8.0\sdeploy xyz.msd XYZsystem -GENERATE -O xyz.msl.

Can any one have idea of the same in 5.0 version.

Sdeploy is a new feature, not found in 5.x.

I suggest you re-import any type trees that were created via an importer. You will need to test every map for output and behaviour. Too many changes from 5.x to 8.0.x

Hopefully you are using 8.0.1
