Greeting all,
IP Office 8.0
Last Friday, The customers IT guy popped out the SD card to get the Serial number for us to order more IP Phone licenses. He put the SD card back into the wrong slot, he put it in the "optional SD" slot. I was there late yesterday to add the new licenses, and after rebooting one of the exisiting IP phones I noticed it said" NO system License", I launched System Status and noticed it could not find the system Licenses. I then discovered he put the card in the wrong slot. I popped out the card and put it in the correct slot, "System SD." However, after I rebooted the IP phone , it said the same thing, "No system License" I was leery to reboot the entire system in case the card was corrupted and the entire system would not come back up.
I am on my way back out there this morning. I plan on doing the following:
1.) make a config back up to my laptop.
2.) Reboot system and hope it comes back up and sees the system licenses.
3.) If not, then recreate SD card.
I have never reformatted/recreated an SD card!
I do see in some posts that it is not good to do it in windows.
any suggestions or guidance one the best way to proceed with this issue would be most appreciated.
Thanks
