I have a customer with a system that has been upgraded several times through out the years. There SD card is 90% full and I can not do a upgrade do to the SD card being almost full. Other than formatting and recreating the SD card, is there any files that can be deleted from the card to free up space. System started out as embedded and upgraded to vm pro after a couple years.

Thanks

Take a copy of the card. Delet everything in /DYNAMIC/LVMAIL folder as recreate won't delete anything in that. Then recreate is the best and simplest option rather than trying to manually work out what other files shouldn't be there.

Stuck in a never ending cycle of file copying.

use manager to format & then recreate then upload your backup CFG

chances are it is all the old Embedded mailboxes & it is just not worth the time & effort considering he time a reformat takes (the rebuild will be needed either way)

What about deleting all vm messages via the serial port debug mode?

it is an option but as the OP is trying to upgrade the IPO I don't see the point.
