My left frame contains a menu I created in fireworks. However, when I preview the page I cannot see all the buttons. How can I add a vertical scroll bar to that frame so as I can.

Make sure you do not have the "NORESIZE" attribute set in your frames definition, or that will make it so that frame can not be resized. Also add the following code/text: "scrolling='yes'" to your <FRAME> tag. And that should add scroll bars. You can also add scroll bars to the frame using JavaScript...but I don't see why you would need to.

It's best to calculate the dimensions of the image, and set the Width of that frame to match the Width of the most wide image. That way, the frame fits the image perfectly without scroll bars. Generally, you wanna stay within 800 x 600 dimensions, anything bigger than that is gonna seem unprofessional. Alot of people us 640 x 480 even.

HOPE THAT HELPED!
