hello,
I just got me a Xeon Cpu (Dell Precision 570) and it has 512MB ROM (2x256MB), a 36GB Scsi (Ultra3) Harddrive.

I saw that under Sytem Properties it only shows 256MB memory. Are there any setting i can change so that it show and use the whole 512 MB??

Under a IDE Harddrive (without scsi setup) the system properties show 512MB

Thanks if someone can help

My first guess would be that maybe there is a BIOS update you can get to fix that, or that maybe you should look online with the motherboard manufacturer to see if there are any more recent drivers for the SCSI connections that you could use via a floppy drive (by hitting F6 for RAID drivers).
