SCSI Adapter card 29160 and Netware 5.0

Getting "Device driver load was unsuccessful"
Make sure all tape drives are properly connected and powered on. If you are using a ASPI compatible controller, make sure thatyour controller driver (e.g., AHA1540.DSK) and ASPI manager are properly loaded.
If you are using a loader, make sure you have properly
configured the SCSI IDs for the loader. Consult your
administrators manual for details on the proper SCSI ID settings for loaders.
If your server is running NetWare 4.11 and you are using the
NWPA device drivers (e.g. NWPA.NLM, AHA2740.HAM) with this
controller, try to switching the corresponding DSK driver. Refer to the README.DOC for more information.
Consult SYS:BKUPEXEC\HARDWARE.DOC to make sure the attached
device(s) are supported.
Make sure the software has been installed properly and has not been corrupted. If the problem persists, contact technical support."

I assume this msg is from Backup Exec. Question is whether Netware sees the SCSI card or the drive.

From the console issue
DEVICES
And see whether the SCSI card is listed, if so is the tape deck.

Leaving for a well deserved long weekend, back Monday.

I did use the LIST DEVICES command and it finds only the CDROM and Hard Drive

Found a driver on Adaptec's website that i will try to manually load

Got it all working now. Actually found an older SCSI card and that one worked no problem. Didn't have to install the new drivers.

Thanks
