SCSI-Port Error

Hi,

We get always a this message in the activity-log, when we erase a Tape, or when we stopped an restart then tape-engine,often it show that the slot is empty altough there is a tape in it, after this the activity log is updatet with the scsi-port error:

"SCSI-Port- Error in Windows NT..."

We have a Tandberg SLR50 Autoloader Firmware Loader:0211
Firmware Drive:0404

SCSI-Adapter: ADAPTEC AHA-2940U2W(new driver)
ARCSERVE 2000 Build (1050)

Has anyone a problem like ours, or can anyone solve our problem

Tandberg makes a SLR60 autoloader.
Are your sure you have referenced the correct product name?
This is the only approved Tandberg autoloader for Arcserve 2000:
Tandberg Data SLR Autoloader firmware 1.47 1 drive 8 slots

If your device is not on the CDL, and you follow the troubleshooter docs I have referenced, you will need to get a new device or new backup software.
