Hi there I am new to Arcserve and I am having a hard time the thing is that I schedule a backup job to run and I am getting these two errors: First it says Windows NT SCSI Port Error [ABSL:3061CMD A5h] SCSI Command retry. That goes away and then I get a yellow information alert saying it cannot find blank media but I want it to overwrite the existing data on the tape.

I am using a Compaq 8 tape autoloader with Win2K Server. If any one can help me out as this is getting fustrating!

Regards

Gilbert

Hi,
Make sure that you have applied the added device support patch and updated the firmware of the tape device after checking it in certified device list for arcserve 2k.
Also load the drivers for the tape device.
Hope it helps.
Thanks just check it man
