Hi Everyone

We have a Dell Poweredge 1660SC (think that's what it is), and we were running low on storage space on the HDD, so we have bought a new 73Gb SCSI drive (same size etc as current one). First problem i had was it wouldn't recognize it at all, but then i changed the ID and it seems to recognize the drive now.
However, I go into the Device manager and under disk drives the drive says it is installed, but "Not initialized" and the drive is not showing under "My Computer"

Can anyone suggest the solution to my problem!! Its getting to be an urgency now!

Thanks very much

Steve

Use Disk Management to initialize and format the drive... Start, Run, diskmgmt.msc
