Hey all,

Curious .. i've never done it .. but can my system boot scsi drives and an IDE together? (OS on the SCSI?)

Thanks for any Info!

Shmoes,

You did not specify the OS you are attemptinf to boot.

If XP, then yes. During Install you will be requested to press "F6" to install the driver for SCSI or other drives.

F6 during Windows XP and Windows Server 2003 setup

Hope you find this helpful

Shmoes,

P.S. You will also have to set the boot order in the BIOS

it's actually windows 2000 server I want to boot normally off my scsi system that's already installed .. and just add another IDE ATA drive (with no OS)

Yeah, shouldn't be a problem then...
