Please note I'm not posting this to the DAID forums as there's hardly any traffic there and the question is not DAID manufacturer specific.

Question: Can I mix Ultra-320 and Ultra-160 drives in a SCSI Raid 5 array on a U-160 controller and expect the 320 drives to safely run at 160?

Thanks,
Tony.

Generally Yes, had same discussion with the people at Adaptec, and they were extremely confident that the 320 drives work.

Great cdlvj. Thank you.
Tony.
