Anyone recommend a scsi/firewire adapter (for Mac)?
I have an external LaCie scsi hard drive (connected by scsi) which I would like to run via a firewire port (card recently fitted). Anyone know if this HD can still be used as a boot drive if connected via firewire?
I asked LaCie but they said to check with the manufacturer of the adapter.
Thanks.

Have a look at this link. Any HDD should be able to run as a boot drive. But you have no find no speed increase's. Firewire drives are being sold with Firewaire connections, however inside the case it's a IDE drive. If you can't fix it in 20 call someone who can.
