I have Windows NT Server v4.0 with SP6a installed. I have the following problems:

When I attempt to view any installed drivers under SCSI Adapters in the Control Panel, I receive the following error message: Error occurred getting driver list from inf file. Err=0. Also in the Control Panel, when I click on Devices, I get the following message: Configuration Manager: This routine is not implemented in this version of the operating system. How do I correct these problems? Thanks in advance for any help offered.

Have you attempted to re-apply the service pack to see if it resolves the issue? Have you altered the registry in any way recently?

Ruster.

I have not reapplied the service pack. What happened was a failed attempt to upgrade NT because I was getting the blue screen message: END OF EVALUATION PERIOD. After trying to upgrade NT I got another blue screen message about tcpip.sys. So to get the machine up and running again. I copied files from the uninstall service pack directory to the system directory. This allowed the machine to start without error. I will try reapplying the service pack to see if that corrects the problem. I didn't make any registry changes directly.

I reapplied the service pack but I still have the same problem. Instead of installing another version of NT server are there any other ideas to solve the problem?

Go to your Services (control panel) and set Plug and Play to Automatic, then click Start.
