SCSI disk for sparcstation4

I have a diskless sparcstation4 that I want to get an internal drive for. The specs say that it takes a SCSI 500 MB or 1 GB drive, but I was wondering if anyone knows if it can support any other size drive? I have a seagate 4 GB drive that has the same SCSI connector that I'd like to try.
