SCSI Disk Drawer (2104-DU3) Serial Number? 1

Hi,

Does anyone know of a command I can run on our 7026-B80, running AIX5.3 to get the physical serial number of one of iour SCSI Disk Drawers.

I've tried all combinations of lscfg, lsattr, smit, & diag but to no avail. One of our existing ones is in this format:- 10-nnnnn (where nnnnn is 5 alpha-number characters)

Any help, anyone please.....

Don't konw if it will do, but have you tried lsslot -c slot?

what type of SCSI disk drawer have you got ?

For a 2104-DU3, AFAIK, you gotta go down to the computer room and read the serial-no sticker on the box itself...
