I have a proliant ml350 linux server. It run for almost one year until last week i experienced a problem that i never met. When i start the server a message appear as

SCSI BIOS is not installed!
Slot 7 COMPAQ RAID LC2 Controller (ver 1.06) 1 Logical Drive(s)
1784-Slot 7 Drive Array Drive Failure
The following SCSI drive(s) should be replaced:
SCSI Port 1: SCSI ID 0

This is new to myself because i never done anything like ythis before.

Please anyone can help me out in solving this problem so that i can restart my server or else any suggestion of how can i retrieve my data from these SCSI drive and replace them or anything that i can do. ???????

just replace the disk - the array will automatically rebuild

you didnt need to turn server off - it's hot swappable
