SCSI Adapter Acard6710S

I am running W2K with 2 cdr:s connected to my SCSI-card. I get full information from the cdr, burning and reading works fine. The problem is that the whole system freezes for about 5 seconds every 20 or 30 minutes. The problem is connected to the adapter because it stops freezing when I inactivate it. What happens is that everything freezes except one of the cdr:s that spins up and blinking, just like I've inserted a cd. That cdr is new and I haven't had it connected at the same time with the other one, just alone before.

Any suggestions would be great!
