Does anyone know of any software that I can load on the BCM 400 that will enable me to scrub numbers against the DNC list as they are dialed.

Any links or any information in welcomed.

Thanks

Nick

i dont what 'scrub' means.

if you want to prevent people from dialing certian numbers, it can be done using the routing table/ destination code

if you just want to track and see who is not following rules ...CDR reporting software

We are going to start tellamarketing and I need to scrub all phone calls through the FCC's Do Not Call List. I was hoping that someone can shed some light on this.

Thanks

Nick

suppose you do not want to call 1.212.123.4567
and your CO access code is 9

build a dest code 912121234567 and send it to an unaccessible route.

Thsi could get painful and I dont know if there is a limit on the number of dest codes

Arent you using some sort of predictive dialer? that should have the logic not to call certain numbers

We don't know what numbers are on the DNC list. If we happen to call any number on the DNC list it could cost us $11,000.00 per call. Thats why i am looking for a peice of software I could load into the BCM that will allow me to scrub all calls as they are dialed against an updated DNC list. This way the call never goes through.

These guys make software that can update lists, etc.

I know of no software that can be loaded in any phone system that would automatically scan calls against a list, at least nowhere near the price of a BCM. Any system that would do that would be specially designed for call centers or telemarketing agencies. I'm sure there is something that works with a predictive dialer type system.

If your agents manually make the calls, probably your best bet is to have software that updates whatever lists your agents call against. I believe lists need to be updated once a month, or maybe more often, not sure.
