Scrolling text

Hi all,

I know I know, question as old as the road to Rome, but I'm way out of practice with Flash (5) so here goes:
Can somebody tell me step by step how to have a text scrolling?

scrolling the text in the sense that u have the textfile in side th0e flash or how?

Hi Moulee, thanks for the reply. What I mean is that the text at first appears as static, till one activates a button that makes the text scroll up or down.

very basic method

place dynamic text box on stage and give it a variable name

create 2 arrows and make them buttons

code to add to buttons

on release(){
mytext.scroll +=1;
)
on other button -=1 with mytexy the variable name of the textbox.
