Scrolling text without scrollbars

Can someone help me with this question? I want to create a scrolling textbox that loads the text from a flat txt file. I do not however want to use scrollbars. is this possible? I want it to load after a particular point within the movie. HELP Meeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee

Shouldn't be a problem. Just use Loadvariables Action to load from the text file into a text box with a scrolling (motion tween) mc.

The scrolling motion tween is what I can't get to work......

put the text box within an mc, and tween the mc (rather than tweening the text itself)
