Hi,

I've made a scrolling text movie in Flash 5 using a motion tween and a mask, and I've inserted it into a website I created using Dreamweaver 4. When I test the movie in Dreamweaver it works fine, but when I preview the page in Internet Explorer, it just shows a blank area where the movie should be. The movie seems to be there -- when I right-click on it, options for a flash movie pops up. I have other flash things on some of my pages, and they all work fine, but this scrolling text thing doesn't seem to work.
Has anyone had this problem, and if so, can you help me?

I figured out what i did wrong. I had my .swf file and the .txt file in a separate folder than my dreamweaver file. The text will only show when i preview it if the .txt file (the text that is supposed to scroll) is in the SAME directory as the web page. The .swf file doesn't need to be in the same folder, though. weird...
