Scrolling text in Flash

Im trying to create an .swf file to place in dreamweaver of some scrolling text. What is the best whay of doing this in flash?

When I create the text it all looks fine in flash but when uploaded it looks squashed and condensed?? Does anyone know why?? Im using Handel Gothic as a font.

Are you embedding the font? If not then the text won't render properly when you publish it.

No that isnt the problem. I have also laid the text out in Photoshop and made it into a jpeg then placed it into flash and created a tween motion to move it from left to right but still the jpeg seems squashed and condensed.
