'scrolling' news feature

does anyone know how to go about creating a scrolling news feature for a home page. When the cursor is over the area, the scrolling stops, then it recommences when the cursor leaves the cell area. They would provide hyperlinks to the latest news.

go to a script repository like dynamicdrive.com and search for news ticker.

Most people on this forum help others learn JavaScript and don't provide code per say but we can point you to the right direction if you need something in JS. Gary Haran
