Hi all,

Am I not able to use my mouse wheel to scroll fonts on a selected type like in Photoshop. This would be a huge set-back in the design process since I have hundreds of fonts to go through. I'm running ID 2.0 on a windows xp machine.

Thanks

You scroll through hundreds of fonts? ack

Use ATM or a freeware font browser to review fonts. When you determine what font you like, type the name in InDesign's character palette... it will auto-complete the font name as you type.

Why is everyone in this forum responding to me as picklefish?

You can use the up and down arrows to run through them, even if the wheel mouse doesn't work. Click in the font name one time and then press up and down.

I use the same method, btw: when I just don't know what I want, I love to watch my chosen words change again and again, kind of like watching them go through "moods," and I often discover a match I'd never have guessed.
