hi,
I have a simple marquee effect, I use AJAX to update the DIV (ie. scroller content), only doing this stops the content scrolling, so I added a call to initalizemarquee(); when the AJAX return, only the scroller speeds up, and each time the div is refreshed the scroller gets faster and faster. why is this and how to I update the div and kick of the scroller without it getting fater each time..here is the JS
thanks 1DMF

Code:
var delayb4scroll=500 //Specify initial delay before marquee starts to scroll on page (2000=2 seconds)
var marqueespeed=1 //Specify marquee scroll speed (larger is faster 1-10)
var pauseit=1 //Pause marquee onMousever (0=no. 1=yes)?

var copyspeed=marqueespeed
var pausespeed=(pauseit==0)? copyspeed: 0
var actualheight=''
function scrollmarquee(){
