A client of mine complained the other day that, after upgrading to Office 2000, she lost her scroll button that she had on the bottom which assisted her in scrolling from worksheet to worksheet in an active workbook.

I don't recall seeing such a critter before ... anyone know about this?

Sandy

Without a more thorough explanation, the only thing I can think of is that the scroll bar that normally sits to the right of the sheet tabs has been extended to cover all the tabs and the little worksheet select arrows....This being the case, just drag it back across Rgds

Or it may be that the tabs aren't showing, in which case do menu command Tools/Options/View and tick the Sheet tabs checkbox

No .. my client actually described some sort of scrolling icon at the bottom of her screen ... Much like the scrolling button on some intelligent mouse devices.

Oh well ... after we finish moving furniture 'bout this week, I'll go back and try to get a more definitive description. FYI, our previous version of EXCEL was 97.

Thanks though ... Sandy

It may be a unique feature of a custom mouse driver, i.e., installed feature that came with an aftermarket mouse.

Certainly not an excel 97 feature - the only thing for moving around worksheets is the standard 4 arrows
Move First / Move Back / Move Forward / Move Last
in the bottom left hand corner Rgds
