Scroll menu 2

Hi there,

I'm a total newbie to flash but I need to get some work done quite soon.
Is there a possibility to create a scroll bar and to align buttons to this scroll bar?
The problem is that there are more buttons than I can show on my page.
Can someone tell me a good way how to do this?
I looked over scroll pane's and buttons but I can't really figure out how to combine them.

just make a movieclip or a swf with your buttons and then load that into your scrollpane. easiest way to go for sure.

the other alternative is to use a tree for your buttons if they can they can be grouped into sections.

Hi firegambler,
You did exactly the thing I want to do.
But I can't figure out how you did it.
The problem is that my first contact with flash was 1 and a half day ago and at the moment I'm really stuck.
I'm reading in a tutorial every free minute but I have't yet found anything about these "contents" and the scripting behind.
If you could just tell me where I can change the variables/the contents it would be a lot easier for me.

to change the content open the file i made, press control+L. now you see the library with all symbols of the film in it. to change a symbol (e.g. menu1 or menu2) doubleclick it in hte library and it will appear on the stage. now you can modify it.
