Scroll bars on text field missing

Hi,

I have looked through several posts on this subject but none of them seem to ever post a solution. Many seem to stop in mid-conversation (not sure why that would be). Anyway, I thought I would ask and see what assistance I can get.

I am working in Access 2007.

I have a text field (memo) that appears on a subform. The form is displayed as a datasheet. I can not get the scroll bars to display. I have set Scroll Bars - Vertical. I tried setting the Can Grow - Yes but that didn't make any difference.

Does anybody have any suggestions?

I don't think scroll bars display in datasheet view.
