Scroll bars on a ListCtrl

I have a ListCtrl which takes up the whole dialog area, but cant seem to get the vertical scroll bars to work when the list fills up the avaiable area.

I have looked though the properties but all the settings seem fine.

But in another dialog I have 4 ListCtrls and there scroll bars become visiable when each list fills the available area. I have check the properties of these ListCtrls with the one on a single dialog and they are the same.

So whats wrong with the properties of the single ListCtrl on the dialog. Note if I enable scroll bars on the dialo its self then they appear but dont affect the ListCtrl view.

Any comments?

to the (currentstyle & (^LVS_NOSCROLL))
