I am opening my forms in dialog mode so that they are on top and nothing happens until they are closed or hidden. Problem is one of my dialogs is very long and I need scrollbars. I have the form set to scrollbars =BOTH, but the scrollbars disappear when I open in dialog mode. How can I get the scrollbars back? Thanks.

Scroll bars and Dialogs

I answered my own question. The acDialog just sets the modal and popup value to true when it opens, so if I set the modal property to true and opened acwindownormal then I would be able to see the scrollbars, and still make that the #1 form where nothing else can be done until that form is dismissed. the popup value must control the scrollbars as well as min/max buttons and borderstyle.
