Scripts to lock down Windows2000 desktop

Hi-

Does anyone know of cool scripts we can use to lock down a server so that we can release the desktop to the users?

By script I mean- permissions, shortcuts, applications etc. We are using a GPO but it's not enough.

Policies really are the best way to lock down a desktop/applications.

What issues are you having that GPO cannot lock down?
