I have a handful of scripts that run from scheduled tasks to check free space on various servers, log space usage, etc. The have worked well for a couple of years. I just migrated them from an XP box to a 2008R2 server. According to the task scheduler, they are firing and finishing successfully, however I do not get the e-mail alerts or log updates. I have them set to use the same domain service account they used on the XP machine and the server itself is logging in under the same service account.

Before I start hacking away at troubleshooting, does anyone know of any specific issues with VBS under server 2008R2?

Windows Firewall is enabled on Server 2008 by default and it may be blocking your outbound traffic.
