We use an in house written tool that creates user accounts and the NT domain, UNIX server, various databases etc etc. This is done from a web page and perl scripts.
The NT bit is done by creating a text file with user name and stuff then remote shelling the NT server to create the user.

How can we modify this tool to create a person on our domino server (doesn't exist yet - but will probably be 2000) and also to amend a name (weddings and divorce), and finally suppending and then deleting when somebody leaves.

Please advise to how to manage Domino from the OS command line.

Thanks

Hi,

Not a direct anwer to your question, but you might want to reverse the process: Domino can be integrated with Active Directory on W2000.

This means that you can manage users in Domino and let the changes be made in the W2K AD automatically.

From your W2K server you can use your old scripts to make changes in any other system you might have.

This integration works best with an R6 server on W2K.

Kind regards,

How much intergation does this give you though - it will sync passwords but can you change the AD Schema to have all the other user properties?
